HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF BEFORE PIERCING
Do not be wary of the piercing process. Stellar applies an in-house anesthesia to numb your ears beforehand to reduce the impact of the piercing instrument on your ears. It is recommended for you to rest and prepare mentally the night before. If you have consumed alcohol within few hours, do avoid getting your ears pierced.
Another important point is to ensure that your piercer is professional and experienced. The environment of the piercing process should also be operated in a clean area with sanitized equipment or tools. Stellar’s technicians are trained to handle kids and adults, thus we are experienced and prepared. They have gone through intense trainings to ensure that your ears are pierced according to our best judgement and to your likings.
WHAT TO DO AFTER YOUR PIERCING
After the piercing, aftercare is an important step to ensure a safe healing progress. It is highly recommended for you to stick to your piercer’s aftercare regime and instructions. Stellar emphasize on importance of aftercare and we do provide consultations afterwards so that your piercings are always taken care of. Here are some things to avoid or do during your healing period:
- Avoid wearing hats that cover ears
- Tie up your hair more often in order not to irritate the piercing site
- Be extra careful when dressing and undressing clothing
